Theres no denying that a long, cold storm cycle would be great. Day after day, dumping foot after foot; maybe starting with some heavy, sticky snow that would bond well to the steeps and smooth everything out nicely, and then cooling down and turning into some nice light fluff that you can glide through easily like riding on a cloud. That would be excellent, and there is plenty of time for that to happen like it usually does.
In the meantime though, January is playing out just as it has for the last several years: relatively warm and dry. Today it will be sunny, warm, and just plain beautiful up here. Give yourself a break from the clouds and the dampness that Washington winters are known for, and come on up. You deserve it! It might be a bit chilly in the morning, but once the sun is up you probably wont need bother with much in the way of extra layers. Dress comfortably, bring some sunglasses and sunscreen, and enjoy a day of springtime in the middle of the winter while you can. We'll be open from 9am to 4pm today.
Low snow coverage exists, so please ski and ride with caution.
