Larry’s Powder Alert – Weather Update: March 27, 2013

There have been some sweet turns the last few days, with new snow at times. Certainly, the season is far from over, with more snow to come.

The computer models indicate an unsettled weather pattern for the several days, with low pressure off the coast directing precipitation our way. There will be some sunshine at times. Overall, the weather systems will move through, with snow level ranging from 3500 – 4500ft. Lower slopes may be a bit grabby at times. With the occasional sunshine, you’ll feel spring skiing is here, while the new snow will mean a pleasant refresh.

Here is how it is shaping up:

Friday: SL 4000 ft 2-5″ new during the day
Overnight – 2-4″

Saturday: SL: 4000 ft —  new snow 2-4″

Sunday: SL – 3500ft – new 2-5″

Monday: Partly sunny

Tuesday: Partly sunny

Enjoy your turns.
