Kids on Lifts – Making Sure Your Littlest Skiers are Safe!

you have little skiers in your family, you know how nerve-wracking their first few trips on a chair lift can be.

And once they get the hang of it, sometimes they become so comfortable on the lift that they tend to disregard the safety measures that they learned during their first few trips.

The National Ski Area Association wants to make sure every child is safely riding the chairlift –  by understanding the responsibilities that can keep them safe. Begun this winter, NSAA has a new 2012 campaign called Kids on Lifts; the campaign has a website, a special section just for kids with cartoons and art, a reminder rack card, videos, etc.

Have a great season with your little skiers, and spend some extra time making sure everyone in your skiing family knows how to safely ride the chairlift!
