Each year when the outdoor tradeshows roll around a few of the endemic business publications put together an awards ceremony to honor the hardest working, most innovative and most productive retailers of the year. This year, Washington’s evo, SnoCon and Sturtevant’s all went home with big honors, and we’re proud to spread the word about this positive redirection during such a challenging time for our industry.

evo President Atsuku Tamura and Founder Bryce Phillips
Transworld Business, the most influential snowboarding/surf/skate insider publication in the market, named evo as not only the Hardgoods Retailer of the Year, but also as the overall Shop of the Year. Wow…blushing. SnoCon (who just hit their big 20 year mark) took home the gold for Regional Shop of the Year as well. Feel free to check out the rest of the winners here…
Skiing Business, a newer but similarly ran insider publication to the skiing industry, ran a similar contest and had a slew of awards for our NW friends. Bellevue-based Sturtevant’s walked away with Top Softgoods Merchandizer, while evo took the Hardgoods category as well as the Accessories. Evo took home even further glory when they were awarded for Best Marketing Practices as well as Outstanding Digital Services. Full results after the jump…
