Mission Ridge BC Edit

Sometimes it makes me laugh when skiers/riders take to the hill on any given day and the weather doesn’t turn out the way they expected. A recent report from an out-of-town visitor chastised our beloved Mission Ridge for it’s Cascade Concrete on an early-season dry day, which most Washington locals have experienced at one point or another at any given resort. Skiing in the northwest is about being patient, learning weather patterns, and knowing where to go when the getting is good, which is exactly what Mike Rolfs knows how to do. Check out this recent edit of some backcountry touring out of Mission where Mike scores some of the best pow turns I’ve seen this season with his dogs chasing close behind.
