On Saturday the 21st, Alpental will be hosting A-Rob’s Smash Life Banked Slalom to benefit our dear friend Aaron Robinson, who recently passed away from a snowboarding accident in the backcountry of Chile. Only 150 racer slots are available, so the Summit is recommending that anyone who wants to participate please sign up now. To register, send an email to SummitSmashLifeBanked@gmail.com and they will respond with details shortly thereafter. After the race, sponsors will auction off some sweet board gear for A-Rob’s Plant a Seed Foundation, which helps keep Aaron’s love of all things positive alive by helping the less fortunate get onto the slopes. There will also be a free showing of A-Rob’s Manifest Movie, and from what I’ve heard – it’s quite a doozie. If you need additional incentive there is also a special musical guest, so don’t miss out!
