| Powder Alert – Weather Update – Feb 12The Winter of Discontent A weak weather system will brush by us Friday and early Saturday. The precipitation will be light (<.15″). Snow level will be 8000 ft. That is not good…don’t expect any new snow (duh). It will cool to a 4500 ft snow level by Saturday and there may be a dusting up high.After that, high pressure will build in for five days and produce a dry weather pattern with respectable sunshine – but no snow. After that we may see a minor pattern shift and a chance of precipitation, but don’t bet on it. Check ski area websites, as there are limited operations/closures.
